Image Resizer

Resize an image by exact pixels or percentage. Nothing is uploaded — it all happens in your browser.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I resize an image?

Upload your image, enter the new width and height (or use a percentage), and click Resize & Download. The resized image downloads immediately in the same file format.

Will resizing distort my image?

Only if the new width and height don't match the original aspect ratio. Keep "Lock aspect ratio" checked to scale proportionally without stretching or squashing the image.

Can I convert the image to a different format while resizing?

Yes. Use the Format dropdown to save the resized image as PNG, JPG, or WebP regardless of the original file type — useful for converting a PNG to a smaller JPG, or a JPG to a transparent-capable PNG.

Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Your image is never uploaded anywhere.
