Frequently Asked Questions

Is this translator really free?

Yes, genuinely. No sign-up, no hidden usage cap, no fee. If you want a bit of extra accuracy on tricky sentences, you can add your own free key in Settings, but that's entirely optional.

How many languages are supported?

Over 100, covering major languages like Spanish, French, Arabic, Hindi, Chinese, and Japanese, along with a good number of regional languages too.

Is my document uploaded anywhere when I use the Word to PDF tool?

No. That conversion happens entirely inside your own browser. Your file is read and converted on your device — it never touches a server.

Why did my translation get an idiom wrong?

Fast, free translation tools are great at everyday sentences but can stumble on idioms and slang that don't translate word-for-word. Adding a free key in Settings switches on a more careful engine for exactly this kind of text.

Do I need to create an account to use this site?

No account needed. Your translation history and any key you add stay in your own browser and never get sent to us.

How can I convert Word to PDF?

Open the Word to PDF tool, drop in your .docx file, and click Convert. Your browser downloads a finished PDF a moment later — no email, no watermark, no waiting for a link.

How do I translate text online?

Paste or type your text into the box, pick the language you want it translated into, and hit Translate. Auto-detect handles figuring out the source language for you, so you don't need to know it in advance.

Can I use this tool on my phone?

Yes. The site is built to work on a phone browser just as well as a desktop one — no app to install, nothing to download first.

Is my uploaded file stored anywhere?

No. Whether you're uploading a document to convert or just typing text to translate, nothing is saved on our end. Anything that needs to persist, like your history, stays in your own browser.

Can I download my translation history?

Yes. Open the History tab and you'll find a Download button to save your translations as a file, plus a Delete All button whenever you want a clean slate.
